A revival religion is one that is considered to have lead or to have played an integral part in the revival of a wider set of religious beliefs and traditions. Astronism is provided with the appellation of revival religion due to its revival of astronomical religions and for the essential part it has played in the organisation of the Astronic tradition of religions and philosophies.
